BERLIN, 1 July, 2021 – Millions of paper prescriptions are still printed in Germany every year. That is now changing: the first official digital prescription has been sent.
On Thursday, according to information from the Handelsblatt, a regular digital prescription for a patient was sent from a doctor to a pharmacy for the first time. A Dortmund-based internist issued an electronic prescription (e-prescription) for a patient from Berlin in a video consultation powered by Zava.
