Our Impact and ESG
Framework

In our continuous effort to make sustainability a fundamental part of our business approach, we focus on sustainable practices and initiative across two dimensions of our operations: our own and our portfolio.

Our operations

Being a certified B Corp

We officially received our B Corp certification in December 2022. B Corporations are a group of purpose-driven organizations who are on a mission to shape business as a force for good.
Receiving a B Corp certification is a recognition of HPE’s ongoing efforts to balance profit and purpose with a verified and trusted standard. This marks the continuation of our journey as a responsible investor.

Our portfolio

Impact

Integrating sustainability and responsible business practices in our organization and investment process has been an evolving journey.

For us, the next iteration in our journey as a B Corp, is offering an impact product with clear environmental sustainability objectives: HPE Growth Digital Climate Fund.

In combining our expertise of scaling digital technology and achieving environmental impact, HPE Growth envisages to be an active player in the fight against climate change. Through our impact product, we seek to further strengthen our commitment to using its business as a force for good.
We believe in sustainable digitalization and have incorporated the following standards and databases in our Impact Framework

ESG

We have fully integrated ESG in our investment process.

At HPE Growth, we use our business as a force to encourage responsible business practices.

We believe that investing in companies with strong Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices not only benefits the environment and the society but also drives long-term value creation for our investors.

For HPE Growth, ESG is about driving improvements on ESG performance and how an organization manages risks and opportunities around sustainability issues.
