Prior to HPE, Stefan worked for 12 years at two leading Dutch law firms. The first 8 years he was with De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek in Amsterdam. Thereafter, he joined Stibbe in Amsterdam, where he spent 2 years in their London office. At Stibbe, Stefan already advised HPE on various matters.
He holds a degree in Law from the Leiden University.
